Mobile Overwatch

Verkada-powered mobile security trailers for sites that can’t wait for permanent infrastructure.

OMEGABYTE Cyber deploys mobile security trailers — cameras, alarms, connectivity, and AI-assisted reporting — where permanent infrastructure is too slow, too costly, or simply not there yet. Coverage arrives before the power, the internet, or the building do — placed where the risk is and run as a managed security program, not a trailer rental.

Built for places that cannot wait

When the site is exposed today, the security has to be too.

Permanent camera and alarm infrastructure takes time to design, trench, power, and commission. Many sites do not have that time — and some will not exist long enough to justify it. Mobile overwatch closes that gap: visible, connected security that can be placed where the risk is and moved when it changes.

  • Stand up coverage in days, not months
  • Place it where the exposure is — relocate as the site evolves
  • Deterrence and evidence from day one

What it actually costs

You may not need a six-figure permanent security project to protect a temporary site.

A common assumption is that mobile site security means a huge, permanent buildout. It does not have to. Mobile overwatch is sized to the site and the timeline — and OMEGABYTE Cyber helps you decide whether to own the system outright or spread the cost over time, so a temporary or fast-moving site can get real coverage without a permanent-grade capital project. If you are paying a monthly subscription to a competitor today, owning the system is often the better long-term position — you keep the asset instead of renting it forever.

  • Own the system outright — or pay over time where financing fits
  • Right-sized to the site and the length of the deployment
  • Own the asset instead of renting coverage indefinitely

Financing or leasing options may be available depending on configuration, term, credit approval, and the applicable partner or vendor program. Availability and terms vary, and not all sites or customers will qualify.

Where Mobile Overwatch fits

Designed for sites where exposure is high and infrastructure is thin.

If the location is temporary, remote, high-value, or public-facing, mobile overwatch is built for it.

What it provides

A complete overwatch capability — not just a camera on a pole.

Visible deterrence

A clear, on-site security presence that changes behavior before an incident happens.

Remote video access

Live and recorded video, accessible from any authorized device, from anywhere.

LTE / 5G / Starlink

Connectivity built for sites with no fixed network — LTE/5G, wired handoff, or Starlink satellite, chosen to match the location.

Solar-supported options

Power configurations for locations without reliable grid power.

Verkada-based video security

Cloud-managed cameras with built-in analytics and edge storage.

Alarm workflows

Alerting tied to defined triggers, routed to the people who need to act.

The platform

Verkada MT81 — a cloud-managed security trailer, not a light tower with a camera.

Deployments are built on the Verkada MT81 Cloud-Managed Security Trailer. Every unit runs on solar, is managed in Verkada Command, and supports up to six Verkada devices — cameras, talk-down speaker, and gateway — matched to the site.

  • 24′ telescoping mast, 355° rotation, electric winch
  • 1,600W tilting solar array with 6.6 or 13.2 kWh battery
  • Six Verkada-compatible arm mounts with built-in PoE switch
  • IP55-rated, 65 mph wind rating at full mast with stabilizers
  • GPS, solar input, battery, and device health monitored in Command

Connectivity built for the field

Connectivity designed around the site — not assumed from a building network.

A mobile overwatch deployment should not depend on a perfect building network. OMEGABYTE Cyber designs the connectivity path around the site — LTE/5G where cellular coverage is strong, wired or fiber where it is available, and satellite connectivity such as Starlink for remote yards, temporary deployments, and locations without reliable building internet. We plan power, mounting, camera placement, and connectivity together, so the system can operate where the risk actually is.

  • LTE / 5G cellular where mobile coverage is strong
  • Wired or fiber handoff where a site connection exists
  • Starlink satellite options for remote or temporary sites
  • Solar-supported power for locations without reliable grid power

How deployment works

A managed capability, deployed in four steps.

Mobile overwatch is not drop-and-leave. It is placed with intent, connected to a response and reporting workflow, and reviewed as the site changes.

1 · Review the site

We assess exposure, access points, and blind spots, then recommend placement and coverage.

2 · Place coverage

Units go where the risk is — visible deterrence and evidence capture from day one, relocatable as the site evolves.

3 · Connect monitoring

Alarm triggers, event review, and escalation paths are wired to a defined response and reporting workflow.

4 · Review & mature

Activity and incidents roll up to leadership, and coverage adjusts as the operation changes.

Remote guarding & event response

Eyes on site, and a defined response when something happens.

Mobile overwatch is most effective when video is paired with a response workflow. OMEGABYTE Cyber helps structure how alerts are reviewed, how events are escalated, and how incidents are captured as evidence — so a triggered alarm leads to action, not just a notification.

  • Event review and triage on alarm triggers
  • Escalation paths defined before the incident
  • Incident evidence capture for follow-up

More than a trailer

The hardware is the visible part. The program is what makes it work.

A trailer with cameras is equipment. Mobile overwatch is a managed capability — placement strategy, connectivity, alarm workflows, event response, and reporting, coordinated as one. That is the difference between a deterrent that sits there and a security program that produces outcomes.

Reporting & dashboards

Every deployment reports up.

Mobile overwatch feeds the same reporting layer as the rest of your security program. Site activity, alarm events, and incident reviews roll up into dashboards and executive summaries — so leadership sees posture and outcomes, not raw footage.

See the reporting layer
OMEGABYTE Cyber structures deterrence, monitoring, event review, and evidence workflows for every mobile overwatch deployment, and coordinates live monitoring and response through its security partner network where a site calls for it. Systems are built around Verkada’s cloud-managed platform; “Verkada-powered” describes the technology these systems are built on. Response-service levels, connectivity performance, and any law-enforcement coordination are defined per engagement; satellite and cellular coverage vary by location.
One accountable relationship

One hand to shake across hardware, connectivity, monitoring, evidence, and response.

A mobile deployment touches a lot of moving parts — the trailer, power, cameras, the network path, monitoring, and how incidents get reviewed and escalated. OMEGABYTE Cyber configures, sources, packages, and coordinates the whole thing and stays accountable for it — so you get one relationship and one plan, on one bill where appropriate, instead of stitching vendors together yourself.
